We love the Cars movie. We have Lightning McQueen and Mater everything. Well maybe not everything, but you get the point...we have a lot of Cars stuff. When we found out they were coming in person to a local mall we had no other choice but to pack up and visit them. I held off on telling Lilly where we were going because I really wanted to surprise her. It was so hard to not tell her where we were going, but I managed to hold it in till we got there and when she asked again I let it out. We were going to see Lightning McQueen! Her reaction was priceless. She gasped and all she could do was whisper "really?"
Unfortunately when we got inside her attitude was completely different. She started not feeling so great and became very grumpy. She didn't want to walk and insisted she sit in the stroller not even getting out for a picture with her beloved Lighting McQueen. Not even Ziff could convince her to cheer up, which says a lot because she is a daddy's girl and will do almost anything for him.
So we pressed forward letting Kyle soak it all in. He got his picture taken and got to play some games. Afterwards we stayed and played in the mall play area for a while. Lilly perked up for this part which was nice, and Kyle had fun running and climbing. We stopped for an Annie's pretzel which is a must and then headed home. Ka- Chow!
